Dances of Universal Peace
The Dances of Universal Peace are simple, easy-to-learn movements and songs honoring spiritual traditions from around the world — heart-awakening circle dances dedicated to peace within and without. They use sacred phrases, music, and movements from many traditions of the earth.
The songs and movements are fully taught and the dances are accompanied by musicians. No experience is necessary. These are meditative and uplifting group dances of easy-to-learn songs and movement.
They are being taught all over the world and serve as a way of promoting tolerance and respect for different religious and spiritual traditions. Dances of Universal Peace takes place on the first Friday and third Thursday of every month in the Fellowship Hall of the Church. Anyone is welcome to attend the dances and no musical or dance experience is required.
