Whether you are planning a UUCS meeting or event, you’ll need to fill out some forms to ensure that you have your place reserved on the calendar and that the meeting or event is publicized. Read below to see what forms you need.

For any meeting or event, the usual forms are the Event Scheduling and the Publication Request.

Purpose: Adds to or updates the church calendar. When rooms are requested, it also reserves the space at the church. This form is recommended even when the event is virtual or held off-premises.

The description should tell folks about the event, how to register, if applicable and who is organizing the event. The description is included in the event on church calendar.

When submitting the form, keep in mind the office hours. If you submit on Friday afternoon, for example, Tuesday morning is the next time someone will be in the office.

Purpose: Promotes your event in all UUCS communications as appropriate, including the monthly newsletter, This Week weekly email, Facebook and the UUCS website. The Communications team creates publicity on all platforms from this single form.

The description should tell folks about the event, how to register, if applicable and who is organizing the event.

Publication Deadlines:
Newsletter: Friday before the first Tuesday of each month
This Week: Wednesday noon

Purpose: Schedules your fundraiser on the calendar and requests approval for the fundraiser from the Finance Team.

This form is required for all fundraisers, large or small.
