Hannah Batu
My name is Hannah Batu and I would like to be your next Board Secretary at UUCS. I have been attending the congregation since before Covid and formally became a member last year. From the start I have attended a Connections Group and more recently a Chalice Circle. Earlier this year I was honored to become one of the congregation’s delegates to General Assembly in June 2024.
The UUCS has been a source of inspiration to me and also offered me friendship and support during some difficult times, so I would like to be able to give back to the congregation by serving as your Board Secretary. In terms of qualifications for the position my many years as a social worker have honed my listening and writing skills. Thank you for considering me.
