Thirty Years of Memories

There aren’t many congregations able to sustain a long-term relationship with a minister in these unsettled times – no UU congregation in the Pacific Northwest – and few continent wide – has had the same settled minister for as long as UUCS – 30 years. This speaks volumes about the goodness and tolerance of the members and the core strength of the congregation. Too many congregations expect perfect ministers and some few others – like UUCS – learn to accept and encourage the flawed but well-intentioned souls who experience a call to serve the greater good.
