Many cultures have traditions of honoring their ancestors, those who came before you and who influenced who you have become. Today, we honor our ancestors, familial, those who influenced us spiritually, those who have influenced our congregation. Take a moment to honor your ancestors and be grateful for their influence in your life.
Centering Thought: We are a continuum. Just as we reach back to our ancestors for our fundamental values, so we, as guardians of that legacy, must reach ahead to our children and their children. And we do so with a sense of sacredness in that reaching. – Paul Tsongas
