Since the dawn of self-awareness, humanity has wondered how we came to be and what is our relation to the other animals. Darwin’s theory of evolution provided a scientific answer at odds with traditional theological answers, and the debate has raged ever since. What does ‘evolution’ mean? How strong is the evidence for it? What are the arguments against it?
