The mission of the Salem-based Mid-Valley Literacy Center is to empower adults with the literacy skills and other training to improve their economic stability and overall quality of family life. The center offers classes in Workplace English, English or Spanish GED, Computer, Pre-CNN and US Citizenship Preparation. UUCS has a history of supporting the center.
