The Social Justice Team is implementing the UUA’s recommendation that social justice initiatives be selected by the congregation and implemented by the Social Justice Team. In our twice monthly meetings will be discussing possible social justice actions, how UUCS can select social justice actions, and who we can work with to achieve social justice goals.

We will discuss 1) homeless in Salem and how UUCS can address it; 2) UU Voices for Justice and their initiatives; and 3) how UUCS can select social justice activities.

Our first meeting was March 11. Meetings will be held on the fourth Wednesday and second Thursday of each month.
