General Assembly (GA), originally planned to be held in Providence, RI from June 24-28, has been transformed from an onsite event into an all-virtual event, in response to public health guidance discouraging in-person gatherings.
Virtual GA retains many of the important elements that attendees have come to expect and cherish: worship experiences, powerful speakers, learning opportunities, and dozens of interactive programs over five days. Anyone can attend this annual event. Registration fee is $150. To find out more information about what is being offered at GA or to register go to the Unitarian Universalist Association website.
In addition, congregations are invited to send member delegates to GA every year. Member delegates are vetted by each congregation, and are allowed to vote on business matters during GA. Interested in doing so at this year’s GA? The Credential Manager is now open and our congregation can begin distributing member delegate credentials for General Assembly.
If you are interested in becoming a credentialed member delegate, or have any questions about GA in general, please contact Christine Ertl, UUCS Board Chair at boardchair@uusalem.org
