Congregations Helping People (CHP) is a group of 18 Salem churches that have come together to combine resources and work cooperatively to help people in need. The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Salem supports CHP through our Share-the-Plate ministry.

Congregations Helping People is overflowing with our neighbors who face the crisis of eviction or utility shut-off. CHP is in need of morning volunteers for our Monday-Thursday 9-12 office hours.
