The Safer Congregation Committee is pleased to announce a new addition to our group, Jack Tally. Other members are Reverend Rick, Stephanie Jernstedt, Christine Ertl, Ginny Merriman, Gil Nicholson Nelson, Molly Brown, and Cheryl Randall. Stephanie is our Chair. During the past year we have developed a document called Restorative Communication Policy and Procedures that outlines steps that can be taken in dealing with conflict as it may arise among members, church staff, or those in leadership positions. Currently, we are looking at planning training for church leadership and others who would like to take part in dealing with destructive and/or inappropriate behavior that may occur at UUCS.
