Position/s for Sunday Services: Lots of different ones, Celebrant, Homilist, Video
Engineer, Sound (still learning), Production Coordinator, Worship Team Chair.
What do you most like about your position/s: They are all creative in different ways,
all connect with each other and with others that help with the Sunday Service, and all
allow for spiritual growth as well as helping to inspire others.
What is one thing you would change: More people learn how to be video engineers
and sound engineers.
What is your idea of perfect happiness: Inner sense of connection to the love of the
universe.
What is your greatest achievement: Different ones at different times, but at UUCS,
practicing the art of being a homilist.
What do you regard as the lowest depths of despair: Loss of a loved one.
What is your greatest extravagance: Door Dash, Amazon, Britbox, Paramount Plus
Who or what is the greatest love of your life: Evelyn Skye – my great-niece who will
be 1 year old in January. Also, all the people in my life who have loved, honored and
nurtured me and I them. Also, my kitty Missie.
Who are your heroes in fiction: Many of the noble and moral characters in Star Trek,
or Harry Potter, Miss Marple, the characters in Louisa May Alcott books, Meg in Wrinkle
in Time, the snail in A.A.Milne’s poem, The Four Friends. There are others I’m sure.
Who are your heroes in real life: People who are authentic and have integrity, who
love unconditionally, who can experience appreciative joy, who are courageous enough
to share their creativity, who are willing to be vulnerable so that new learning can
always occur.
What is a meaningful piece of music for you: Beethoven’s 7 th Symphony, Brubeck’s
Take Five, Chopin’s Les Sylphides, Beatles Let it Be, anything Segovia.
Where do you like to go in nature to revive: Use to be only the ocean, but more and
more it is being under the leaves of trees, sometimes in my own back yard looking at
the sky.
