What is Share the Plate?  During each Sunday service, we take a collection. This voluntarily given money is then shared between our congregation and an organization from the local community which has goals that align with Unitarian Universalist principles. This month’s Share the Plate recipient is Habitat and Hope Village

Habitat and Hope Village (HHV) is a non-profit organization and also an affiliated ministry of UUCS. Its mission is to provide homes for the homeless. Their primary project is the planned Women’s Shelter of Hope, a shelter for up to 5 newly homeless women. They also help support the Church @ the Park, which provides immediate shelter for those experiencing homelessness. Find more details on their website at http://habitatandhopevillage.org/
