Once again MLP (Mujeres Luchadoras Progresistas, which means Women Striving for Progress) is offering beautiful Holiday wreaths handmade by farmworker women, Folks interested in a holiday wreath can order directly online and pay either online or by check via mail. To purchase a wreath for $35, wreath order forms and checks must be received and or purchased online before December 2. For complete details, see their website. Anyone who places an order can pick up their wreath at the First United Methodist Church on State St. between the hours of 8 am – 10 am on December 5th.

Do you want a wreath but need help getting it home? Choose the Salem delivery location when you order online, and then leave your delivery information on the UUCS church answering machine. 503-364-0932.

We are looking for a few volunteers to pick up wreaths at First United Methodist, and deliver to homes for those who are unable to get to the bulk delivery site on the 5th. If you can help, contact Jack Tally, or the church office.
