Many of the members of this congregation heard Rev. Rick’s stirring sermon on September 22, with comments by Committee on Ministry member Eric Schuman following. Following his sermon, Rev. Rick received his only standing ovation from the congregation in 27 years as our minister. Follow these links to the UUCS website for a downloadable version of Rev. Rick’s sermon and the comments by a member of the Committee on Ministry.
A video of the sermon is available on YouTube. The podcast (audio only) is available on our podbean channel.
The topic of his sermon was the Gadfly Papers and their negative reception at the UUA General Assembly in Spokane Washington in June of 2019.
