The annual Empty Bowls benefit for the Marion-Polk Food Share will be held at the State Fairgrounds Saturday November 17 from 9 am to 5 pm and Sunday November 18 from 12 pm to 4 pm.
Empty Bowls is the benefit sale of beautiful handmade bowls and other pottery artisan crafts, all donated by the artists at Willamette Art Center. They have raised over $160,000 to help support and sustain food insecure families in the Salem area in the last 10 years.
The Willamette Art Center (WAC) is Salem’s community arts center located at the Oregon State Fairgrounds.
