Salem for Refugees is in place to help more than 100 local refugees fleeing persecution and conditions in war-torn countries such as Iraq, Syria, Somalia, Bhutan, Burma .

These new residents get help with basic necessities, and with housing, healthcare, education, employment, and navigating English and a new culture. Funds go to fiscal sponsor, Salem Leadership Council.
