Thanks to all the donors, fruit pickers, packers and freezers, to the pie makers and bakers and go-fers and cleaners! We had another successful PIE Day on November 19 with about 20 people making fruit pies, and another 5 bakers at a separate site making gluten free pies. All profits went to UUCS.
We equaled last years achievement of making 200 pies in 5 hours, including 15 gluten free. Did you miss the sales on the 20th? There may be a few frozen pies left to sell at the Women’s Alliance Bazaar on Dec 4, so come early to claim them. Look for more opportunities to get involved next year.
