What a wonderful feeling, especially this month when we need all the wonderful feelings we can experience, serving a Thanksgiving lunch to the Salem community through the Kairos program. UUCS volunteers prepared/reheated and served turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, yams, beans, cranberry sauce and of course pumpkin pie to 106 diners. We ran out of everything except pie! Thanks to Carolyn and Joel Woodman, Patrice and Michael Pollard, Jane Maute, Diane Mitchell, Danielle Shearer, Victor Reppeto, Joan Erickson, Cathy, Sara and Evan Ponsioen, Gayle Gilmour, Adele Moore, Glenn Morrison, and the fabulous Loraine Stuart for all their help. What they all realize is how much fun it is to serve. Consider joining us next year! Sign-ups and dates will be at the Social Justice table. Call Mary Beth Hustoles with any questions.
