Members of the Social Justice in Action Team have been attending Mid-Wilamette Homeless Initiative Task Force meetings and Salem Homeless Coalition meetings to explore ways the SJIA team and the congregation might make meaningful contributions to decriminalize homelessness and find solutions that serve both the homeless and the community. Follow the link to find meeting dates, subcommittees, volunteer opportunities and other information.  Warm bodies create a presence and will have a powerful effect on the outcomes in these meetings.
