A Soul’s Eye View

Normally, we experience our lives from a small-self point of view – focused on personal relationships, household affairs, career, and so forth. It is good sometimes to step back and gaze upon the world from a soul’s eye view.

Centering Thought: The feeling of being lonely and temporary visitors in the universe is in flat contradiction to everything known about [living organisms] in the sciences. We do not ‘come into’ this world; we come out of it, as leaves from a tree. As the ocean ‘waves,’ the universe ‘peoples.’ – Alan Watts
