Enjoy the powerful and charismatic sound of taiko drums on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 7:00 pm at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Salem. Monmouth Taiko will play traditional and modern compositions of the Japanese drumming music called taiko, with the Japanese flute called fue. Taiko is played on large drums with choreographed dance and movement.

Monmouth Taiko is based in the Willamette Valley area of Oregon. They travel around the Pacific Northwest sharing their joyful and powerful sound. Check out their <Facebook page.>

Tickets at the door or online, $20/$15 students or seniors. Masks and proof of vaccination or OHA exemption will be required at the door.
