Christmas Eve Service and Candlelight Walk

Before the service you can participate in the Annual Candlelight Walk this Christmas Eve at 6:30 pm, and stroll down the lighted pathway around UUCS grounds together. Bring a candle lantern.

Then join us as we celebrate the incarnation of love throughout the ages and around the world during the Christmas Eve Service at 7:00 pm, both in-person and live-streamed on December 24. Rev. Rick’s sermon is titled “Love Never Fails”.

To attend in person, click the button below to RSVP. Register and remember to bring your vaccination card, photo of it or medical exemption. Stay afterwards for light refreshments. Bring your Prayer for the World or send it in ahead of time to sara@uusalem.org.

To participate in the service, you can make a recording of you lighting a candle and passing it left to right. Submit the video by dropping it here.

To get you in the mood, here is how you say Merry Christmas in a few languages: French: Joyeux Noël, German: Frohe Weinachten, Spanish: Feliz Navidad, Italian: Buon Natale, Dutch: Vrolijk kerstfeest., Hungarian: Boldog Karácsonyt.

There will be a Sunday Service on December 26 at 10:30, titled, “Peace for the Past Year and Blessings for the New Year”, Let us say a peaceful farewell to the past year and bless the new year that is approaching while finding inspiration within each of us. On January 2, the service is, ‘SPACE exploration”, Why is SPACE all upper case? Because it’s a multi-purpose acronym signifying five different but overlapping approaches to life. Doing a bit of SPACE exploration will be a good way to start the New Year.
See you in the coming weeks. – The Worship Team
