Clothing Drive for Folks in Transition

The De Muniz Resource Center located in the South wing of the Marion County Transition Center helps men and women transition from incarceration back to the community. Congregant, Jack Tally works at the resource center as a Navigator and has requested help with filling their clothing closet with functional, used clothing for those folks in need as they set out with less than the bare essentials.
Clean (no odor) “imperfect” coats, shells, sweatshirts/pants, belts, flannel, hats and gloves are highly appreciated from those needing the resource. Imperfect but functional shoes are appreciated too. We hope to get enough donations to get folks through the Fall and Winter. The clothing drive will end the second Friday of December.

A clothing drop-off at the UU church will be maintained weekdays in the front entryway of the Church.
