The latest list of needed items posted by United Way includes Colman stoves, propane canisters, canopies, wheelbarrows, brooms, shovels, large tarps, cots, and heavy rakes.   All donated items  can be dropped off at the Truitt Receiving Center, located at 1330 Front St. NE, Salem. The latest updates to the needs list and the drop off locations can be found on the United Way’s website. 

The UU Salem Board of Trustees voted to make a $1,000 donation for fire relief efforts.
