Landscape Team Thanks! But, There is More…

UUCS bateman Woods prep for Mayday 2017-4-30

A giant THANK YOU! to all who adopted a section of the UUCS landscape to groom on your own schedule. The willingness of volunteers to own a piece of our grounds supplements the Landscape Team’s work party demands towards larger projects.

The Adopt-A-Garden volunteers are:
Connie Anderson, Eugenia Becker, Patty and John Davenport, Tom Ellis, Robert Galloway, Greg and Margrethe Gregg, Mako Hayashi-Mayfield, Beth Anne Huffine, Kathy Marsh, Lennie Martin, Jane Maute, John Prohodsky, Iris Sea, Cheryl Seleen, Joseph Start, and Barbara Stebbins-Boaz.

You have made a huge dent in providing the many hands needed for ongoing maintenance on our huge piece of property.

We also have many, steady helpers at the work parties who are the backbone of the heavy-duty, random jobs that arise and demand attention. All of these hours contribute to keeping the UUCS grounds beautiful.

We have openings for someone to adopt the parking lot and sidewalks, as needed. Extra hands would also be welcome to help Robert Galloway with Bateman Woods maintenance. Lastly, there’s an easy stretch of plateau which needs occasional weeding.
