We are excited that six UUCS members have visited our partner church in Transylvania July 26 – 30. Some of the travelers will continue on to other destinations in Europe; we are looking forward to hearing about the group’s experiences at a service in September.

Once again, we will collect some needed items for our partner church in Simenfalva during the month of August. Rev. Sandor Szen did not list unusual needs this time, but he did say that supplementing supplies that we have sent at other times would be useful. Here is the suggested list:
– Reading glasses, over 2.0 strength
– Vitamins B, C, D,  Omega 3
– Pens, pencils, erasers
– Colored pencils and pens, Construction paper
– Printer paper – Please, max of 4 packages. (They are heavy!)
