Why do I love and appreciate UUCS?

  • Great message and awesome people.
  • I feel it is a good safe place to worship and everyone is so friendly.
  • Rev Rick is a fine liberal voice and a funny guy.
  • Honesty, involvement in current events, acceptance of everyone.
  • The community is so loving and caring. My kids feel a part of something larger than themselves. Love the sermons.
  • For all the learning, compassion, quietness, music, love, support, gladness, everything & beautiful dinners and ancient dancing.
  • I like the non-judgmental vibe and the not-afraid-of political activism philosophy ~social justice & helping homeless families initiatives to name a couple.
  • Music, choir, special musicians, chosen music; readings – always thoughtful and important.
  • The people! I’ve met the best people and made awesome new friends.

  • Reverend Rick, getting to know new people, the choir, other musical offerings during service, connection groups, the inclusion of children in the service, the focus on compassion and how UUCS has helped me to be more compassionate, The grounds, the sanctuary and the sun shining through the stained glass, support offered in times of need, Social Justice committee and them helping me stay informed on important SJ issues.
