On May 20, 2018, our Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Salem voted to support a “No Vote” on Measure 105. This is an unjust measure that violates our shared values. Oregon UU Voices for Justice and First Unitarian of Portland along with HealthCare for All Oregon have recommendations for all five statewide ballot measures. Please stop by the Social Justice in Action Table in the Fellowship Hall before or after our Sunday services and we will share the recommendations with you. We are called to serve the needs of our world. Voting for the rights of all people to live with justice and dignity is one way to serve.
