Oregon UU Voices for Justice needs at least 600 signatures before August 6 so that the UU opposition to this ballot measure will be listed in the Voters’ Pamphlet.  Stop by the SJAT table on Sunday July 29 or August 5 to add your signature to the list.

 

Signatures will be submitted to the Secretary of State to verify that each person is a registered voter.  If passed, Measure 105 would repeal Oregon’s Sanctuary Law.  At the UUCS Annual Meeting in May, the congregation voted to oppose this measure.  This is a small thing each congregant can do to help.
