The Oregon and Washington Anti-Nuclear walk will be passing through Salem on July 28.  Join the walk at the Capitol on the Court Street side, beginning at 9 am.  The walk will last several hours, ending with an evening program and pot luck at St. Mark’s at 6 pm.  This is an annual peace walk led by Buddhist monks associated with a monastery on Bainbridge Island, WA to commemorate dropping of atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
