Are you the parent of a seventh through ninth grade youth? We will be offering the UUA Coming of Age program this year. This is an opportunity for youth to learn more about Unitarian Universalism and articulate their own beliefs.

Each youth will have a mentor chosen by the youth and their parents, who will participate in the program along with the youth, beginning on Sundays in January. Each youth will work through a series of activities and experiences to delve deeper into their spiritual beliefs. At the end of the program in May, youth will have the opportunity to present their credo (statement of belief).

Parents of youth seventh through ninth grade may sign up for this program. For more information and to sign up your youth for the Coming of Age program, please talk to Christi Olsen, Director of Lifespan Religious Exploration, or email Christi@uusalem.org. We need a minimum of four youth in order to make it a good experience for all. Please provide the name of your youth and the two names for possible mentors by November 15.
