Christi has an early childhood associates degree with an infant/toddler endorsement, a Bachelors in Social and Human Behaviors and a Masters in Special Education that support her role at UUCS. In addition to Christi’s many years of experience directing religious exploration programs and teaching children of all ages, she has been a therapeutic foster parent. She continues her education as a Director of Lifespan RE through the many UUA opportunities available.
In addition to her 3/4-time role at UUCS leading the children and youth, she substitutes in public schools, teaches classes for children/youth at the Village Home School and runs a small farm animal sanctuary. She and her husband are parents to six adult children (4 adopted!) and grandparents to two grandsons and a granddaughter.
