What is it that leads a person to identify as a Unitarian Universalist? In a faith with no creed, what binds us together? Scholar and minister Rev. David Bumbaugh says that it is a shared history. We’ll examine the implications of that in this service.

Centering Thought: Unitarian Universalism is a peculiar religious tradition in that what binds it is not so much a shared theology, or even a shared response to the experience of the sacred, as it is a shared history. We are one people because of our inchoate understanding of the journey through time which we share. – David Bumbaugh
