As a congregation, we value co-sponsorship with others. These are groups we partner with on a regular basis.

ARMS members are prepared to listen to those struggling with addiction issues and assist them in finding resources to help in their struggles. They sponsor Recovery Dharma.

The Dances of Universal Peace teach and perform simple, easy-to-learn movements and songs honoring spiritual traditions from around the world — heart-awakening circle dances dedicated to peace within and without.

Marion-Polk Food Share is the regional food bank leading the fight to end hunger in Marion and Polk counties. During the “Time for Generosity” during each service, we pull a small wagon up to the front of the sanctuary to accept donations of food or money for the Marion Polk Food Share. If the wagon is filled, it will support a family of four for a week.

Microfinance addresses global poverty one family at a time by making small loans to people living on the edge, so they can increase their earning power, escape poverty, and make a better living for their families.

Family Promise is a group of churches that minister to homeless members of the greater Salem community. Each church hosts homeless families for one week, providing morning and evening meals, companionship to families and children in the evening, and a place to sleep in the church.

The UUCS Women’s Alliance (WA) is an affiliate group of friends and members. The group elects its own officers and has its own budget, and donates generously to the life and ministry of this congregation.
