Recently, Rev. Rick and Kathy Marsh began recruiting folks to join the “Flower Buds” committee. The committee will create floral arrangements for display in the front of the sanctuary for Sunday Services. This is a tradition in many UU churches, giving the congregation a focal point for meditation and bringing a little natural beauty inside.

As a consideration for those with pollen allergies, the arrangements will be made up of plants that have low pollen, plants that lack pollen altogether, and other greenery. The arrangements will NOT contain any high-allergen plants such as Asters, Daisies, Dahlias, Gerber Daisies, Easter Lilies, Chamomile, Chrysanthemums, Ragweed, or Sunflowers.
