Sanctuary Benefit Concert January 27

At the entry to the UUCS building is a fountain in a shape reminiscent of a chalice and flame, the symbol of Unitarian Universalism. 2016-08

The Sanctuary Team, a sub-committee of the SJAT, is sponsoring a benefit concert on Saturday, January 27, 2018, from 6:00PM to 8:30PM. This special evening will further the awareness of today’s climate of racial intolerance and the need for sanctuary. It will also raise awareness of IP22 and the history of racial injustice. The proceeds will help to replace the window of the Green Room to meet fire-codes so that anyone staying overnight will be able to escape safely in case of a fire.
Performers include the Azteca Dancers, Lorraine Stuart, Ayala’s Band, Ted Cory, Peter Bergal with The Atomic Medicine Show.
