IMirJ meets to Advocate Immigrant Justice on 4th Mondays

Rev. Rick, Sarah Rohrs, Ron Speck, and Michael Pollard represented UUCS at  the newly formed 2017 Interfaith Movement for Immigrant Justice (IMirJ)Sanctuary Cohort of Marion County on Monday, September 25th at Holy Cross Lutheran of Salem.  IMirJ  supports and advocates for immigrant justice issues in various ways.
 
The churches involved are UUCS, Holy Cross Lutheran of Salem, St. Mark Lutheran of Salem,  First Congregational United Church of Christ, Pan de Vida, Lation Worship Group of Woodburn, Trinity Lutheran of Dallas, and Meridian United Church of Christ of Wilsonville (also known as Frog Pond Church). This group will meet for six months on the 4th Monday of each month. The next meeting of the 2017 IMirJ Sanctuary Cohort of Marion County will take place on Monday, October 23rd at 6:30 pm at Holy Cross Lutheran of Salem.
