Cordon Road Cleanup on Earth Day – April 22

Adopt a Road UUCSPlease come help with the Cordon Road Cleanup effort on Saturday, April 22 (Earth Dayfrom 9 am to 12 noon.

Twice a year, UUCS congregation members pick up litter along the segment of Cordon Road adjacent to our property. With some dedicated volunteers showing up to keep this one-mile stretch of roadside clean, we can have our name on the Adopt-a-Road sign — a great way of increasing our visibility in the community.

We need up to eight volunteers to participate in this worthy endeavor.

Please help us keep this valuable community tradition intact!

Logistics
We meet at the UUCS parking lot at 9 am. Safety vests and garbage bags will be provided. First-time adult volunteers must sign a waiver. Children under 18 must have a waiver of liability and indemnification form signed by their parent or guardian. Children 10 and 11 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Contact Michael Pollard at mpollard608@aol.com if you are willing to commit to this awesome experience.
