At each Sunday service, during what UUCS calls “A Time for Generosity,” a receptacle is passed around to collect money. This voluntarily given money is then shared with organizations from the local community who have goals that align with Unitarian Universalist principles. October’s beneficiary is the Microfinance Project. There will be a special service with a slide show presented by the Microfinance Team as well as a Peruvian Dinner.
